How It Works

What Our Clients Are Saying
In 2022, I joined the WhatsApp skipping/ weight loss team organized by @thefit_nutritionist. The aim was to lose weight, which was achieved, and I left the group and moved on with my life. Did I take any lessons from the group? NOPE, I didn’t because I went back to my daily habits.
I tried to get back on a diet and be fit, but it was such a struggle. I went to the gym, became a gym rat, and spent two hours there five days a week. Instead of losing weight, I ended up gaining more. My stomach was protruding because I also had diastasis recti.
Just around that time, Ngee reached out to me to ask how I was faring. I complained about my body, how I was always tired, weak, and had pain in my back, and how I wasn’t losing any weight even though I wasn’t eating as much. She then asked that I have a vitamin D test done, a lipid profile, an HbA1c test, and a blood pressure check. She also asked that I create a journal of everything I ate in a day. On some days, she called me out on my meals, stating that I wasn’t eating enough; on other days, I wasn’t adding enough fiber; and on other days, I just had too many calories
I had the tests done, and my vitamin D levels came back deficient. I was required to take a vitamin D supplement and also include meals rich in vitamin D. Ngee made sure this time around that I wasn’t aggressively cutting anything out. She would say, “Just make sure you eat something,” and ask that I share with her the details at the end of the day. This made it easy for me, especially with my busy life: managing a business, working a 9-to-5, and raising kids. I wasn’t going out of my way to prepare special meals.
I haven’t visited a gym this year or done any aggressive weight loss regimen, but I have gone from a protruding size 38 waist to a size 33, and from 46-inch hips to 42 inches. I have made sure to include fiber every day, in any form possible, along with healthy fats, and I continue to eat the meals I know how to prepare.
